"Cobra Commander"
(GI Joe: A Real American Hero)

Leader of Cobra, and evil terrorist organization, Cobra Commander is committed to ruling the world in his iron grip. With his own army at his disposal and advanced weaponry developed by the treacherous arms dealer Destro, Cobra Commander plans to defeat the GI Joe team and lead Cobra to victory!

The metal face-plated (and sometimes hooded) Cobra Commander is another iconic 80s villain. Made memorable by the late Chris Latta's voice work, Cobra Commander has always been an unforgettable villain. His origins are a bit murky, in the Marvel comics, he was a failed car salesman disillusioned with the government and started up a pyramid scheme and eventually went militant leading to the formation of Cobra as a terrorist group. In the cartoon, he was member of an ancient society known as Cobra-La and was eventually turned into a real snake by its leader Golobulus for his continued failures to take over the world.

Nothing really different design wise here other than a modern animation style take on his classic uniform from the beginnings of the GI Joe toyline. And yes, I have a variant in the works with his hood, so fans of the Hooded Cobra Commander need not worry
