"Starscream"
(The Transformers)
Trying to be rid of Megatron and claim his rightful place as the leader of the Decepticons, the treacherous Starscream leads his fellow air warriors into battle against the Autobots all while plotting in any way he can to find some way to rid himself of his unfit leader. Many say his hatred for the Autobots is eclipsed only by his hatred for Megatron.
This is everyone's favourite egotistical backstabber, Starscream is one of the most popular characters in the entire history of the Transformers toyline and is one of the characters almost guaranteed now to have a new version of him appear in whatever new incarnation of the Transformers that Hasbro comes up with.
I don't really have any real notes for his design other than I wanted to take what was already there, with a heavy dose of how he looked in the Sunbow cartoons, and just give it a modern animation aesthetic. I wanted to put the tail fins that are on the toy's legs actually on his legs in this design (they were omitted in the Sunbow cartoon) but I forgot until the last minute and figured "whatever", it gives it more of a Sunbow feel this way anyways

I just wanted to say, I really wish Hasbro would consider this styling. I love streamlined styles, and to see Starscream with his signature smirk and in G1 colors would be so awesome. He's almost got a 'teenager' look to him, rather than his almost feminine styling from Prime or the bulkiness of Armada. Gosh I just love this style. Very well done!
