Transformers: IGNITION - Page 6

I figured I'd put this here as I really don't have much to add yet, but what I really wanted was a sort of "screen cap" look, I always tried to bring elements of animation to my non-animated artwork over the years, and a lot of animation tends to have a "painted" look to the backgrounds in contrast to the two-toned, outlined characters running around on them. Notice the backgrounds use gradients and have a lack of lines and seem to be a bit softer or "blurred" to give it that look, unlike the characters which use outlines and stick to two-tone shading.
